Grab the employee. Survive the return trip.
A successful raid ends with a hired employee earning at your desk. Reaching the company or carrying a worker only gets you part of the way.
The company raid sequence
- Choose a company you can currently approach and identify your return route. Start with a reachable company rather than assuming late-game offices are unlocked.
- Approach a worker and follow the in-game grab prompt. The boss starts pursuing you.
- Return to your office while carrying the employee. Keep moving; the video shows catches even after an apparently promising start.
- Deliver, train and hire the worker, then place them at a desk. Compare the resulting income after the reveal.
Why the attempt failed
| Failure state | What to change |
|---|---|
| Boss catches up | Improve speed through the treadmill, trails or other available upgrades before repeating the same attempt. |
| Company has no available workers | Check the displayed restock/day timer. Use the downtime for training and office management. |
| The hire is weaker than expected | Compare the revealed income. Keep it only if it improves an open or occupied desk. |
| Inventory or satchel is full | Return and process employees before grabbing another. Bax encounters a full satchel during his run. |
Stealing from players is a separate risk
The official description explicitly says you can bonk other players to steal their employees. Expect other players to contest a carried hire; the boss is not the only threat.
Bax also attempts to take workers around neighboring offices, and some attempts fail when he is too slow. This supports treating speed as a practical constraint. It does not establish a universal equation comparing your speed to another player’s, or a safe speed margin.
Confirm the result at your desk
Check that training has finished, the Hire action is complete and the worker is seated. A successful grab is not proof of an income increase. If you replace someone, compare the before-and-after total under the same boosts and time unit.
