STEAL AN EMPLOYEE / FIELD GUIDE

Your first employee. Your first real income.

Steal a worker, escape their boss, finish training and put the new hire to work at a desk. Your first goal is a repeatable income loop—not a raid on the most expensive company.

Complete the first hire

  1. Enter an accessible company and approach an employee. Use the interaction prompt shown on your device to grab them.
  2. Run back toward your office before the boss catches you. Plan the return route before grabbing; a failed chase is a reason to train speed.
  3. Deliver the employee, let the training timer finish and complete the Hire action when it appears. Carrying an employee is not the same as having an active worker.
  4. Seat the employee at a desk. Check their displayed income and your cash counter to confirm that the hire is working.

Build a loop you can repeat

Bax’s September 19 playthrough starts with a worker described as earning $36 per second, adds more hires, buys another office floor and then improves speed. That $36 is a recorded example, not a guaranteed starting rate. Read your own worker’s unit before comparing it.

Between raids, use the treadmill and collect the cash your seated employees produce. After a better hire finishes training, compare its income with the lowest earner already occupying a desk. Reserve expansion money when capacity—not escape speed—is the limiting factor.

Three checks before your next raid

  1. Space: can you seat a better employee, or are you prepared to replace a weaker one?
  2. Speed: did your last attempt fail during the escape? Train first if it did.
  3. Readiness: finish outstanding training and hiring before assuming a worker is generating cash.
